Responsibilities:

  • Drive your team towards timely execution often with competing priorities. Negotiate technical needs vs. new features and be a key contributor in defining the product roadmap.
  • Own release management for the products you created – your product ships when the customers are realizing its value.
  • Continue to improve the team’s SDLC processes and plan for the next thing in the product pipeline.
  • Evangelize solutions, processes, and agile development to the team
  • Identifies and mitigates project risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Experience in delivering complex, highly scalable, performant, secure and reliable software systems
  • Collaboration with Development Managers to plan and deliver multiple deliverables towards an integrated, and complex solution
  • Collaboration with the cross-functional group of team members, such as Product Management, Support, Services and Sales
  • Experience with working directly with Customers
  • Experience with collaborating with teams and customers that span multiple time zones and countries
  • Accepts ownership for taking on new problems and challenges and proactively explores opportunities to add value to the overall software development effort within the organization

Minimum Qualification:

  • 5+ years of experience in high tech industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a project management role on software development projects.
  • Deep understanding of project and program management in a fast-paced environment taking a product through its complete lifecycle using Agile methodologies and delivering highly scalable and robust systems
  • Experience in delivering both on-premise products and Cloud native products
  • Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Experience with TDD and CI/CD processes 

Critical Skills:

  • Proven track record in managing engineering projects with deliverables from multiple teams
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to interact constructively with other departments, their management teams, staff, and internal and external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client facing
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree or experience
