Presales Technical Solution Strategist

Overview of the position

Change Healthcare is looking for a Presales Technical Solution Strategist to join our highly talented Solution Consultant team. You will be a key member, driving us to deliver world-class demos to new and existing customers. You will connect our team to the Product organization so that we are ready to demo the latest software and provide our view of the bigger picture of how our products will evolve.

What are the duties and responsibilities for this job?

  • Act as the key contact with the Product organization to manage the scope of the demo system
  • Work with other technical team members to maintain the demo system:
    • Install and test new products and product versions
    • Develop and maintain the demo system sandbox
  • Provide training to the Solution Consultant team on changes to the demo system, including explaining new product features and workflows for existing products
  • Work with Solution Consultants to build and maintain demonstration scripts
  • Working cross-functionally with various team members in Marketing, Sales, UX and Event Planning to coordinate the hardware, software, and workflows to be shown at conferences

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related field with 3+ years of related experience in a software (preferably SaaS) sales, support, training and/or consulting role that includes client interactions, or equivalent work experience
  • Be an active learner and teacher, seeking to expand and share knowledge
  • Ability to conduct training sessions, give presentations, and interface and communicate with co-workers in a clear and professional manner
  • Technical skills related to software implementation
  • Ability to independently prioritize project-related and jointly owned tasks.
  • Experience interacting directly with clients
  • Strong problem-solving skills

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Experience in project management/coordination
  • Passion/interest to demo solutions that solve end user challenges
  • Understanding of software product release concepts and strategies
  • Knowledge/experience with PACS, RIS, HIS, HL7 and DICOM processing and XML
  • Experience with Medical Imaging and knowledge of Databases, informatics and/or Enterprise-class Information Systems a plus

May require up to 10% travel. Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
