The Tech Lead / Architect works with business and technology leaders to understand the holistic business strategy and then works with product managers, enterprise architects, senior technologists, and business analysts to identify, define and develop solution-specific, cloud-native, IT architectures and product deliverables to support the strategy.
The Tech Lead / Architect also leads, and actively participates in the design and hands-on development of projects including prototyping, proofs-of-concept, new enterprise technology components, and the delivery of products to market. This position will play a lead role in driving the design, development, and implementation of software solutions leveraging modern cloud architectures. The right candidate is used to making significant contributions to an entire ecosystem, not just one component or application.

Architect and build highly scalable and available API solutions for Change Healthcare customers using cloud technologies
Lead solution design, architecture anddevelopment that exceeds customer expectations and requirements from a functionality and performance perspective
Comprehend business requirements, create designspecifications and validate business requirements with product teams to ensure full understanding of the business needs
Design and architect software solutions to meet functional requirements as well as non-functional requirements such as elasticity, scalability, reliability, and business continuity
Deploy applications in a hybrid cloud model and ensure integration of public and private cloud solutions
Deploy infrastructure and applications using continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI /CD) pipelines
Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
Ensure high quality software with the right balance of unit / integration / functional test automation
Monitor application resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
Monitor performance of applications and ensure application reliability and stability
The Tech Lead / Architect should be able to articulate the business requirements into technical requirements and vice versa to effectively communicate to product and business teams.
The Tech Lead / Architect should be able to articulate the technical issues in as simple lightly technical language to Management and Executive leadership during a SEV1 call
The Tech Lead / Architect should have experience in analyzing and troubleshooting production issues for legacy/new high volume mission critical systems. Guide the team in solving issues rapidly and proposing/implementing necessary measures to improve stability, performance and reliability. Creative thinking to restore the business continuity and minimize impact to customers.
The Tech Lead / Architect should have an innovation mindset to solving complex business problems and embrace the principles of Innovation framework of the company.

Proficiency with Java and Node JS

Proficiency with multiple AWS Cloud Services
Proficiency with Docker
Proficiency with Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL based database for application development
Proficiency with Agile Scrum SDLC
Proficiency with CI/CD tools/processes (Git/Maven/Jenkins/SonarQube/Jacoco/Junit preferred)
Good understanding of enterprise best practices
Application development in an AWS environment utilizing AWS services is required.
