Senior Client Executive, Dental Payer Market


Overview of Position
The Senior Client Executive will create and drive to completion customer-specific revenue retention and growth strategies for top tier assigned dental payer clients, leveraging operational efficiency/utilization reviews, sales opportunity qualification &/or close, facilitation of training, assistance with onboarding processes, & strategic planning.  Maintain a deep knowledge of client industry, product, and role in the market. Assist in product recommendations, client onboarding, new-client implementations, and training to ensure client experience is seamless and consistent. Stay proactively engaged with client to ensure product or service is functioning as intended and adding expected value. Track success through metrics such as client engagement scores, measures of churn, etc.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Serve as customer operational expert for all aspects of top tier assigned customers for both for existing and potential areas of partnership
  • Maintain and expand relational footprint within assigned clients, serve as escalation point for operational disruption across all defined areas of partnership
  • Interaction with, but not limited to, Manager, Director, and VP contacts
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and cultivation of references at each client within assigned portfolio
  • Create and deliver Business Reviews with all assigned clients per corporate guidelines
  • Create strategic account plans
  • Maintain accuracy of customer documentation in all corporate repositories such as Salesforce, Siebel, Qualtrics, and Contract Administration


What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Four-year college degree or related and equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of account management/retention experience
  • Experience in upselling
  • Experience in knowledgably educating, consulting and ultimately selling based on customer need including ability to assess need and articulate product fulfillment and improvement
  • Demonstrated experience selling into the healthcare market preferred
  • Healthcare payer experience preferred

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Experience in data tracking in Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and tools
  • Ability to critically think and solve problems
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
  • Strong organization skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask, project plan management, process improvement
  • Ability to delegate and hold team members accountable
  • Possess strong communication acumen to have professional crucial conversations as required

How much should I expect to travel?

Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
