The Project Manager 2 position is accountable for utilizing standard PMI™ methodologies and tools in leading strategic client facing and internal projects within operations. Responsible as single point of contact to clients, creation and tracking of detailed project plan and associated methods of communication to all level of stakeholders, facilitation of requirements gathering, proactive risk mitigation, and regular project status updates. The project manager should be highly organized and demonstrate an understanding and applied experience delivering healthcare implementation projects. The project manager should be an adaptable team player who helps remove barriers to timely project completion. The project manager should have experience building and maintaining client relationships.
This position is responsible for providing client focused project management across multiple solutions. Directly oversees activities for multiple implementation areas of the organization. Ensures projects are completed within committed time frame and integrated with other business and related projects. Actions have significant impact on key business objectives.
Some of the primary responsibilities include:
- Project scope/requirement, develop project schedule, create project plan
- Coordinate project activities, track project progress, provide regular status reporting
- Deliver and execute on all agreed to customer requirements and commitments
- Motivate, lead, and positively influence project team members
- Demonstrate excellent customer relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Proven core project management skills and experience utilizing PMI™ methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
- Consistently seek feedback from clients and team identifying process improvement opportunities
- Ability to act and react swiftly to challenges
