Overview of Position
The Senior Business Development Manager - Ambulatory Healthcare is a senior level role, reporting directly to the Global Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, requiring demonstratable success in spearheading net new client business in emerging technology such as cloud and AI in healthcare informatics.
This high-energy and experienced business professional will have a validated track record selling clinical enterprise IT into the very large radiology practice and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) accounts. This role will work very closely with senior executive sponsors, solution architects, finance, and product teams to develop and drive the strategic engagement, revenue and value from the largest U.S. radiology practices and ASC accounts. This growth focused person must be fluent at developing net new accounts, be able to operate at executive and C levels, and seamlessly shift from clinical to IT to financial to business focus at each step of an engagement.
**This role is remote, and can be located anywhere in the US, but candidates must be near a major metro area
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Responsible for net new large deal revenue and value generation via non-traditional deal structures which may include sales bookings, IP, co-dev, revenue share and investment.
Quickly establish the confidence of key executive and C-level stakeholders to build relationships based on shared vision and business tenets
Work with key internal stakeholders to lead the development of a differentiated value proposition beyond the product level.
Identify and help establish key partnerships required for our success in the large radiology practice and ASC markets
Track your deal teams’ progress via well-organized strategic selling techniques along with detailed project management level milestone and action items
Build and present business cases to support funding and execution of strategy
What are the requirements needed for this position?
10+ years of experience in health IT desired, preferably in one of the following digital segments: medical imaging, clinical workflow automation, and/or clinical decision support.
5+ years of experience in leading and closing large and complex deals with proof of successfully hitting targets
5+ years of deep experience in radiology practice and ambulatory markets
What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?
Deep knowledge of complex deal financial models
Must be experienced, and comfortable, in leading complex, 8-figure deals
Expertise with solutions, vendors and customers in medical imaging informatics, diagnostics and workflow settings and an expert of trends at vendor and provider levels.
Confidence inspiring customer-facing presentation and information discovery that supports the successful delivery to clients
Expert in defining, selling, and monetizing the value of a multi-faceted complex relationship
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills within a multicultural environment
Advanced problem solving and critical reasoning skills
Strong internal negotiating skills
Ability to manage multiple projects that might be geographically widespread
Highly proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work experience.
