Product Manager

Overview of Position

The ClaimsXten Portfolio Product Manager will focus on growing the depth and breadth of the entire business, aimed at improving our competitive position and driving customer value.

The Product Manager will be an industry and payer market expert focused on the discovery and understanding of key healthcare issues, payer challenges, success criteria, medical cost and claim management trends as well as competitive product offerings and translating into new and innovative solutions. To achieve these goals, the strategist will regularly interact with executives and/or major strategic customers, market experts, medical directors, as well as partner with business stakeholders (e.g. product management, strategy, clinical & technical development, business development etc.). 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Couples discovery with strategy, gives direction and insight into what our market wants and needs to best serve our customers in all aspects of the ClaimsXten Portfolio. 
  • Drives innovation through each stage of the product lifecycle, developing and executing strategies based on what the market needs to successfully execute the jobs to be done.
  • Collaborates with all functional areas and stakeholders to leverage PDLC best practices, lead investment assessments, and create roadmaps that align with product visions.
  • Prioritizes roadmap and articulates a logical, iterative approach to delivering the customer solution; May serve as lead product manager in an Agile environment.

  • Identify growth drivers and determine innovative programs, solutions, modules, products, services or models to better meet market needs and drive competitive differentiation.
  • Determine feasibility and viability of initiatives and drive prioritization of activities to bring to market
  • Suggest and participate in buy, build, or partner decisions for content sourcing and innovative programs.
  • Work with Product Managers to create investment plans and roadmaps to ensure development and execution of strategies. Identifies and assesses the impact of financial decisions; Translates assessments into Business cases and proposals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • 8-10 years of payer/payment integrity/payment accuracy/healthcare experience.
  • 5+ Prior experience in working with Payer medical cost savings programs
  • 5+ claims adjudication and processing lifecycle experience including vendor management.
  • 3+ years creating and prioritizing business cases/investment opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in health care, healthcare administration or business preferred.
  • Strategy development, business skills, product management experience including sales and marketing participation, direct customer interactions, and varied approaches to customer and prospect communications desired. 
  • Must be comfortable with, and highly effective in, leading matrix, cross disciplinary teams and communicating with a diverse market base in various formats and environments.
  • Highly organized and demonstrated success in achieving outcomes in a deadline driven environment

How much should I expect to travel?

  • The candidate should plan to travel 20% for offsite client meetings, conferences, onsite team meetings.

The applicable base pay for your state is listed below. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, ClaimsXten Portfolio offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with ClaimsXten Portfolio, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives.

The base pay range for this position is $93,240.00 - $230,880.00
