Work Location
Fully remote - Houston, TX, area only
Position
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative in the Houston area to work remote Monday through Friday with a flexible start time between 6am and 8am Central time. The ideal candidate will work directly with the client, revenue cycle management, direct manager and AR team to review and resolve patient account escalations through EPIC system and EPIC CRM. All equipment will be provided.

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, hospital staff, adjusters, and attorneys

Ability to setup workstation and operate through various systems.
Requirements
Meet productivity and quality standards as outlined in client metrics
Identify any issues or trends and bring to the attention of management team
Work on special projects as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Responsible for resolving and/or appealing denials and rejections. Responsible for identifying billing/system/collections issues or trends and reporting them to management.
Assisting other representatives with client and/or procedural related questions.
Preferred Qualifications
2-3 years’ work experience in healthcare accounts receivable
Revenue Cycle Experience (EPIC, CERNER, Athena IDX)
Hospital registration/patient access experience preferred
Medical Payer experience preferred
Subrogation and Coordination of Benefits experience preferred
CRM experience preferred.

General office demands
High speed internet connection and a quiet place to work remotely
Availability to work an 8 hour day Monday through Friday with a flexible start time between 6am and 8am Central time.
