Overview of Position
Change Healthcare is seeking talented Full Stack Engineers to join our innovative engineering team in developing industry leading healthcare price transparency web applications and APIs. In this role you will work in a team that embraces DevOps, Cloud, and Agile practices. You will have opportunity to work on front-end applications, backend webservices, and Cloud infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for engineers that want to be Full Stack Engineers capable of all technical aspects of our applications and APIs.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building great software and driven to help deliver systems that solve real-world problems. As part of our engineering team, you’ll be working in a highly collaborative environment in an exciting atmosphere. At Change Healthcare, your work is critical to the success of our team, and each team member is involved in the evolution of our products from making architecture and design decisions to exploring and implementing new technologies.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Develop and operationalize web-based applications and APIs in a rapid agile environment.
- Develop solutions that are high quality, scalable, reliable, and reusable
- Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team to plan sprints, expand stories into technical tasks, work on removing impediments, and execute at top velocity
- Conduct robust software testing enabled thru test automation in a CI/CD pipeline.
- Own the delivery of your portion of your current project; demonstrate both individual achievement and teamwork.
- Full Life Cycle software development including requirements definition, frontend, middle tier, back end, testing, build and systems
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- Bachelor of Computer Science or similar degree with at least 5 years of professional experience or HS Diploma with equivalent experience
- Experience developing software with one or more modern programming language - Java, JavaScript, C#, C++
- Demonstrated knowledge of standard programming concepts, practices, and algorithms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- CI/CD Experience with GitLab
- JavaScript Frameworks: React, Node.js
- AWS Cloud Experience- VPC, IAM, EC2, ECS, ROUTE53, S3, SNS, SQS, CLOUDWATCH
- Databases- Relational and NoSQL Databases
- OpenSearch
- Elastic MapReduce
- Docker, Containers, Kubernetes
- Automated Testing Frameworks and Tools like Cyrpress.io
- Terraform
- Strong work ethic and being good team player

How much should I expect to travel?
Up to 5%. Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
