Senior Strategic Sales Executive, Payer Communication Services

OVERVIEW

The Senior Strategic Sales Executive, Payer Communication Services is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and generating new sales within assigned large national payer accounts.  This role is a senior level individual contributor position that coordinates with the  Account Management team to target high dollar opportunities, develop account specific sales strategy and close new business logos. 

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Identifying opportunities to sell Communication Services solutions into assigned payer customers
  • Meeting assigned new business sales quotas
  • Directing and conducting sales presentations
  • Collaborating with Vice President Strategic Clients (VPSC), Senior Client Executives (SCE) and the business to coordinate sales efforts within assigned health plan customers
  • Developing and mastering a thorough understanding of Communication Services Solutions

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 10 years sales and business development experience in selling multi-Million dollar solutions
    • Proven track record of selling complex solutions to large national payers and health plans
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • Experience in Communication Services in the healthcare market including Transactional, Program Fulfillment and Digital

  • Proficient at executing when experiencing multiple competing priorities
  • The ability to develop and grow relationships at the senior level of assigned accounts
  • The ability to build relationships across the internal organization including legal, operational, product/marketing and executive management
  • Solid knowledge of health payer marketplace, competitive landscape and product/solution differentiators
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

How much should I expect to travel?

  • You will be required to travel up to 50% as required. 
  • Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
  • You will be based out of your home office within 1 hour of major airport
  • Territory: National

Colorado Residents Only:

The base pay range for Colorado residents is $101,935.00 - $209,265.00 plus any relevant incentive pay programs that may be aligned to the role. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your base pay, Change Healthcare offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Health, dental and vision plans; wellness program; health savings account; flexible spending accounts; 401(k) retirement plan; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; Employee Assistance Program; PTO; tuition reimbursement; and employee-paid critical illness and accident insurance.
