Oversees the development and implementation of detailed technology solutions for clients using company products, outsourced solutions or proprietary tools/techniques. Responsible for defining the client needs, developing a proposal to meet those needs, as well as overseeing the implementation of the complete project solution. Performs in both a people management capacity and a technical leadership capacity. Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or utilization (i.e., billable hours for the department) or performance against budget. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements. Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through several department managers within the company.  

Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods. Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization. Preferred: Broad knowledge of the field with proven management skills. Resolves critical issues and contributes to unit/area development. 10+ years experience with at least two years of management responsibility.


What are the requirements?
Years of experience: minimum of 15 years consulting within healthcare provider markets.
Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred or other advanced degree

How much should I expect to travel? during Covid no travel or limited travel; after Covid standard is up to 80% travel can be expected

Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.

New York and New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for New York City, NY and Westchester County, NY is$155,020 - $300,240. The salary range for Ithaca, NY is $134,800 - $250,200. The salary range for Jersey City, NJ is $161,760 - $300,240. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Change Healthcare offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
