Senior Financial Analyst-Technology Enabled Solutions

Overview of Position

We are seeking a Finance partner with 3-5 year experience who will create value for the Health Systems team under Technology Enabled Solutions, acting as a key advisor by providing accurate and data-based recommendations to drive business performance improvement.  You will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis activities and will provide full finance support to Senior Manager, Director, and/or SVP business partners.



What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Financial Analysis – Analyze and communicate the key metrics and drivers against history, budget, forecast, and strategic plan. 

  • Planning & Forecasting – Support the financial planning activities in a manner that yields challenging, but achievable, strategic plans, budgets and forecasts and provides clear understanding of requirements and results.

  • Modeling – Develop/maintain financial models to enable analytics around trends, performance, and outlook

  • Support – Support field operations in analysis of their financial performance and determining areas of improvement.

  • Special Projects - Carry out special projects as required. 


What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 3-5 years progressive experience in finance

  • Proven Process Improvement abilities increasing efficiencies

  • Analytical and technical skills-advanced in Excel

  • Experience modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics that will be used to support decision making by executive leadership

  • Proficient at analyzing, interpreting, and succinctly synthesizing large amounts of financial data.

  • Advanced experience with ERP system (SAP or similar) and financial planning system (TM1 or similar).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Will drive discussions with functional senior leaders on their reporting, planning, and identify/recommend efficiencies. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prepare a variety of financial reports in a timely and effective manner.

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar discipline.  MBA a plus

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Tableau, Alteryx, or SQL experience is nice to have

  • Healthcare industry experience a plus

  • Experience managing multiple P&L’s or multiple Businesses

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
