Overview:

The Opportunity:  We are recruiting for a motivated individual to provide litigation support to internal litigation attorneys, outside counsel and business unit representatives on all litigation, bankruptcy, internal investigation, compliance, and regulatory matters.  

  • Managing the general workflow of all cases and anticipated litigation from start through completion;

  • Scheduling and attending witness interviews and depositions;

  • Reviewing pleadings;

  • Gathering and producing discovery documents, subpoena response material, etc.;

  • Reviewing and analyzing discovery materials and other documents;

  • Setting up new matters in the billing system;

  • Creating and maintaining working folders and filing for all matters;

  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings;

  • Updating business and business unit attorney(s).

What are the requirements?

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree

  • 2-5+ recent litigation experience (in-house, law firm and/or corporate) and project management experience

  • Office 365 suite, Adobe, PowerPoint required. 

  • Experience with litigation management and e-discovery tools preferred.

  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities are critical.

  • The candidate must be able to function well on teams while also able to work productively independently with periodic direction.

  • The candidate must have excellent people skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • The ideal candidate will consistently demonstrate a professional demeanor despite demands of the job, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

  • Great organizational skills are critical and will be relied upon by the litigation team and others


What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Litigation experience related to healthcare, technology, or healthcare technology experience is a plus.

  • Effective project management skill is an advantage. 

How much should I expect to travel?

  • Less than 10%.

  • Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.

  • Candidates for this position will be remote or based in Atlanta or Alpharetta, GA.
