Clinical Accreditation Program Manager

Overview of Position

The Program Manager is responsible for managing TES (Technology Enabled Services) projects and initiatives that are utilized to drive efficiency across one or more business units.  This role will serve as a point of contact, coordinating, and collaborating with URAC and other accreditation entities and business partners to ensure achievement of accreditation for the nurse triage and other clinical revenue cycle programs.


What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Formalizes project planning tasks and milestones by collaborating with our corporate Process Excellence Team among other internal business partners to define business requirements for system enhancements and new functionalities.
  • Serves as the SME for applicable accreditation standards.
  • Develops tools that assist in determining exposure to accreditation risks and identifies opportunities to manage and mitigate those risks.  Compiles information related to quality improvement and accreditation monitoring activities for internal use and external audits and maintains relevant records. 
  • Monitors improvement action plans relating to accreditation compliance. 
  • Works with business management areas to develop metrics for monitoring program objectives and policies and procedures that support compliance with accreditation requirements.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of all required program documents to achieve and maintain URAC accreditation and other program standards as indicated.


What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 5 + years of professional experience leading, overseeing, or managing projects, or complex processes from beginning to end.
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare related accreditation standards i.e. Joint Commission, URAC accreditation, etc.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, MS teams/ Web-Ex and PowerPoint
  • Program Design knowledge required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Advanced writing skill

General office demands

How much should I expect to travel?

Post COVID, the expected overnight travel for this position is 10%. Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
