Pricing Strategy Manager

Change Healthcare is one of the largest, independent healthcare technology companies in the United States. Change Healthcare is hiring a Pricing Strategy Manager to lead in the development and management of pricing strategies and tactics that support revenue, margin, and solution portfolio objectives. With insights from Change Healthcare solutions’ financial performance, competitive position, and market dynamics, this leader will be responsible for driving growth across our business units’ portfolio of healthcare technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pricing Strategy focal to our Enterprise Imaging and Clinical Review and Membership businesses.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and all relevant stakeholders to develop, lead, and execute pricing strategies that accelerate customer adoption and top and bottom line growth.
  • Oversee the pricing of new products from the initial business case and proof-of-concept to go-to-market and general adoption.
  • Develop product bundles, upsell and cross-sell strategies, and price promotions that leverage the Change Healthcare Platform and generate greater customer value and long-term partnerships.
  • Establish discount policies that optimize customer value, adoption/retention, and financial performance.
  • Foster a Pricing Culture and drive a systematic and regular cadence to review product portfolio pricing across both businesses to identify upside opportunities and/or pricing gaps throughout our products’ lifecycles.
  • Spearhead all price increase opportunities for both businesses: identify, validate, analyze, present, execute, report, and repeat.
  • Assess all upcoming renewals and present to the business and Account Management a pricing plan highlighting various pricing scenarios, sensitivities, risks, opportunities, and total value delivery for each customer.
  • Own Return on Investment: create ROI models/calculators and value-selling literature for Sales to leverage.
  • Provide overall thought leadership in revenue generation: identifying market opportunities, performing business and competitive analysis, and develop pricing strategies and tactics to pursue identified opportunities.
  • Further the pricing center of excellence to support strategic pricing decisions, develop analytics around pricing (e.g., price sensitivity/elasticity analysis, regression analysis, price waterfalls, etc.) and present plans to senior executives.
  • Work closely with sale managers to develop sales training and collateral and drive pricing and promotional decisions.

Requirements:

• Ability to create financial models for ad-hoc reporting and work with large volumes of data
• Advanced Excel skills required
•5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, marketing analytics, or consulting
• Excellent presentations skills with ability to present effectively to diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet pricing goals within established timelines

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Desire to continuously explore advanced analytics in pricing

• Strategic thinking and ability to identify growth opportunities and drive those to resolution

• Healthcare technology experience

• An advanced understanding of pricing concepts and frameworks

• Position will require a solid grasp of quantitative analysis, finance, and statistics

Education
BS in math, economics, finance, engineering, or equivalent experience

MBA or advanced degree preferred
